Student-organized powwow draws attendees from across the region
Prior Lake High School was the site of the first-ever student-led powwow on Saturday, March 22.
Tribal members from Native American communities throughout the Midwest gathered for the event open to the public and celebrated with drum contests, dancing, singing and food.

Tyler Andring of the Native American Student Coalition at PLHS organized the event. Sponsors included Arrowhead Towing, Prior Lake Student Council and the Prior Lake Rotary Club.
